有名な"there is no such a thing as a language"という台詞が最後に(p446)出てくるが、ここで言うlanguageとは「古典的な意味での言語」という意味で、キャッチーだが少しミスリーディングな台詞。しかし

We just made a sort of the idea two people `having the same language', though we could not explain what a language is.
